How to handle your hardware better
Manage
Hardware as a Service
Hardware as a Service lets you give your equipment the attention it deserves. From an IT infrastructure that keeps your business running, upgrades to your hardware, to extending the life cycle of your tech.
By reducing the amount of financial and human resources needed to manage the process, we can make a huge difference to people, planet and profit.
Repurpose
IT Asset Disposition
When your tech isn’t doing the job, our ITAD services help you recover, reuse or dispose of your assets in the most planet-focussed way possible, and we split any profit with you.
You earn cash for new tech, which you can use to help others get new equipment they can’t afford, because everyone should feel good about saving the planet.
Support
Hardware Financing
Tech comes at a price, so why put the strain on your business’ budget? We work with a close partner to offer you a personalised payment model with flexible leasing contracts.
Not only does it mean your business can spend less, it’ll help your green reporting, give your staff the equipment they need to thrive, and you’ll have A-grade, refurbished, eco-friendly technology.
Save the planet and your pockets. There's profit in peace.
BUYING THE LATEST TECH CAN SERIOUSLY DEGRADE THE PLANET.
Reducing your carbon footprint is only the first step. We believe you can be more responsible in business, for you, for the planet, for customers, for good.
Profitable and cost-saving
We add value to your current IT equipment, source and supply new tech, de-stress your IT department, while cutting costs in the long run.
Safe and secure
Everything’s under lock and key here. We treat your data to the highest government standards, whether it’s privacy or security, handling everything safely and securely, leaving no trace.
Super sustainable
We collect and replace, repurpose, recycle, sell or donate tech that isn’t useful to you, with a slice of the profit going back to you. It’s a win-win!
The big questions covered
Simply click on the relevant question below to see how BornGood can help you.
How does profit sharing work?
It’s easy. Each time we reclaim a piece of hardware, we credit your account with your profit share. You can cash in your credit to spend on new hardware or other equipment at any time, or save it for something larger in the future.
Why choose reborn tech?
‘E-waste’ or ‘defunct tech’ is not waste at all – it’s whole electronic equipment or parts that can gain new life through re-use, upgrading parts, or recycling. We can use this equipment to fund a carbon offset programme through our Environmental Partner, re-supply businesses, or help out charity.
What about security and data?
All hard drives will be securely data erased using the British HMG Infosec Standard 5 Enhanced sanitisation method. All data on your hard drive or removable USB can be destroyed without the possibility of future recovery. We can also supply an on or off-site crushing service.
Why recycle my tech?
When e-waste is taken to landfill it can pollute the air, ground and surface water, poisoning land and sea animals, and find its way into crops and drinking water. Recycling reduces land, sea and air pollution, whilst ensuring we're conserving natural resources, reducing carbon output and limiting greenhouse gases.
Will it impact my carbon footprint?
We keep detailed records of all online and offline sales made. We also have a monitoring system, which records when tree planting has occurred or offsets have been retired, allowing offsets to be cross referenced individually with customer purchases.
How do I choose my refurbed tech?
Our flexible approach lets us assess our customers’ requirements on a case-by-case basis. To give you full transparency on your tech’s previous life, we log all tech once received, asset tag it, and track it from collection, through the reclamation process, and on to the resale. This info is then available to view in our report and complete asset list.
